About Lori Trumbauer & Solace Counseling
Hello! I'm so glad you are here! My name is Lori Trumbauer. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I believe counseling is a collaborative effort. I will work with you to create goals you want to achieve in your journey and empower you to work through the "hard stuff" by using creative approaches to help move you forward. I use evidence-based approaches and techniques such as CBT, DBT, and Solution Focused Therapy. If you are in need of a Christian perspective within your life situation, with your initiated request, I also provide Christian counseling and would be happy to include God within our sessions, if that means praying with you, for you, or exploring who you are in Christ.

First of all, congratulations on taking the first steps into investing in YOU! I believe that we all have a "purpose" in this world. Sometimes we can get caught up in the chaos of life that we tend to lose ourselves and who we are. Some look at getting counseling as a sign of weakness when in reality, it is actually a great strength! I think it takes a lot of bravery and self-motivation to reach out and take time to say "yes" to your own healing & well-being. Taking that step can be scary & can come with a lot of mixed emotions.
We all need to know someone will meet us right where we're at without any judgement and just walk with us in our pain & struggle. When you join a session with me, my goal is to provide a safe environment where you can feel heard & validated as we work together towards healing and purpose.
